Stefan Weinberg

Stefan WeinbergStefan Weinberg was born in 1923 in Krakow, Poland. He was 16 years old when the Germans first imprisoned him. From there he was transported to the Krakow Ghetto, and on to five concentration camps - Theresinstadt, Plaszow, Grossrosen, Buchenwald, and Sonnenberg. He finally escaped and reached a displaced persons camp where he stayed until he immigrated to the US in 1949.

Mr. Weinberg's presentation will cover his life and arrest after the German occupation, experiences in concentration camps, liberation and finally reaching the US.
